Carl Zarcone came to one of my seminars about 10 years ago, he was eager to learn and ready to get into the decorative concrete business. He started with overlays and expanded to Stamped Concrete and acid staining. He soon realized that if he wanted to be better than the competition he needed to do a lot of work.

He set out to improve what he delivered to his customers by experimenting with different ways of applying the products, color schemes and a whole lot of testing. After much trial and error Carl developed his own style along with application, color and texturing techniques that did put him above the rest. How do you know your are good at what you do? Referrals!, a good referral from a customer is worth ten ads on the yellow pages. Carl accomplished just that with quality work and above the norm artistry. In all his years in the business he never advertised, word of mouth got him plenty of jobs and never had to haggle as much as other contractors.
